Reston Town Center
Reston Town Center has a legitimate claim as the downtown of Northern Virginia. With dozens of great restaurants, shopping, a state-of-the-art movie theater, and events happening year-round, it is the place to congregate in Reston. The Reston Town Center neighborhood includes several high-end condominium complexes in and around Reston Town Center, as well as the townhomes of West Market. This neighborhood is perfect for people who want to live in an urban environment, but still want to have easy access to green space. North Reston
North Reston the neighborhood is not to be confused with North Reston the “everything north of the Toll Road.” The North Reston area is roughly bordered by Baron Cameron, Rt. 7 and the Fairfax County Parkway. Architecturally, it’s one of the most diverse areas in Reston. A mix of housing types from small condominiums to very large estate homes, colonial style to contemporaries, lakefront property to homes nestled in wooded areas. Lake Anne Area
Historic Lake Anne Village Center is the focal point of Reston’s first developments. The Lake Anne area comprises everything between Wiehle Avenue and the horseshoe-shaped North Shore Drive, including the Tall Oaks area. While Lake Anne is primarily townhomes and condominiums, there are beautiful single-family homes along Fairway Drive and South Shore, and then again on Wedge Drive and Putter Lane (yes, there is a golf course in the Lake Anne area—the Hidden Creek Country Club). Uplands

It is a mix of lovely single-family homes and townhomes situated in a wooded setting—in fact, you can walk into Lake Fairfax park from several points in the neighborhood. South Reston
There is much that residents of South Reston have to boast about. It is home to two of Reston’s four lakes—Lake Thoreau and Lake Audubon, as well as the Walker Nature Education Center (one of Reston’s gems). For shopping, you have South Lakes Village Center and the Hunters Woods Village Center—home to the Reston Community Center and CenterStage.
